Original dessert, perfect for Christmas festivities. If you are going to make it for your kids, you can substitute some spreadable nuts cream or some powdered chocolate to the Rum
Chose dates and Californian plums with their kernel, they are tastier!
Alternatively to the sugar, you can try to add some honey. The taste will be a little bit different, but nice as well.
It is a dessert that you can easily match with a sweet Italian wine, like a “Lipari Moscato” or a “Pantelleria Passito”
100 g of Elda Ricotta
300 ml of Liquid Cream
50 g of Sugar
½ teaspoon of Powdered Cinnamon
1 teaspoon of Rum
8 Dryed Plums
Beat the Elda Ricotta in a bowl with a wooden spoon;
Add the cream, the sugar, the cinnamon and the rum. Whip the mixture for about 5 minutes.
Cut the dates and the plums in a half and remove their core;
Fill every half with the cream you have obtained with a sac à poche;
Garnish with a walnut kernel.
